Ben Ali, who founded the famous Ben's Chili Bowl in Washington, died last night at his DC home of congestive heart failure. He was 82.

I was going to offer how sad, but then I saw that he died in 2009.

No, since i did not comment on the quality of the food. I will hazard a guess that it's better than the food at the Birchmere, which i have had, albeit many years ago.
