 i think allmusic called them "the pogues of the south", and it's a very apt description ... they mix punk and americana and some billy bragg type stuff together really well ... really nice guys too

against! me fucking rules, and all of  their shows in richmond are insane.  they usually sell out, too, so if you plan on going, pick up a ticket early at plan 9.

Alley Katz may be an armpit and an asshole compared to clubs up here, but they make up for it with $2 beers.  I love the place.
 
 And I'll be at this show, because it's easier for me to get to Richmond than Towson.  I've seen Against Me! at least ten times over the years and most have been in Richmond...they're just always more fun there.

The club owner is a total dick!  He has been known to put broken equipment on stage and then try to tell the band that they broke it and charge them for it.  They just dont know how to run a club for crap.  Its sad that Richmond does not have a decent club.
