bummer - i saw him with the zombies w/love at the state theatre in falls church 2004.
he always looked like he was genuinely enjoying himself and the gig, whatever band he was playing with.

I've seen him perform a number of times over the years and was at the State Theater show as well. Love took the night easily, IMO.
Most recently saw him play with the Zombies at the Fillmore in SF doing Odessy and Oracle. That was a great night.
Sad loss.
