 Though, I will say, the tix are expensive.  I had four people ready to go, and three dropped out (including me).

She doesn't play Wolftrap EVERY year.
 
 Plus, there are a lot of people who would see her at a nice suburban venue where you can bring a picnic and a bottle of wine who wouldn't venture into a standing, no seats venue in a so-so part of town with tickets costing twice as much. 4000 tickets at Wolftrap at $20-$45 doesn't necessarily translate to 4x1000 tickets at $75 each at 9:30.

My salary hasnt gone up in 3 years due to this economy, no way those tickets should be that much. That is completely on the artist, obviously doesnt appreciate her fans too much.

Same here - We were actually looking forward to this one, but there's no way I'm paying that much money. And I'm one of the people that doesn't usually balk at high prices for club shows.
