So you guys missed the reference completely?

Oh wow, yep totally missed that.

I would absolutely rather watch Oliver on the OC before I watch Oliver on the Brady Bunch.

I will say this though, even after all these years, my feelings for Marsha haven't changed at all.  I might even like her even more as I've gotten older.

But Jan had a real ur-Gwyneth Paltrow thing going in the last season.

Now that I fired my internet security stooge Hutch hijacks my account at will:

I really liked what led into it though...

My sister is going to see Bill in a few weeks in Houston...

I think Maher reflects my view on things more than anybody...

I finally got around to seeing Daft Punk Unchained.  Probably super late to that party, but I absolutely loved it, even if you don't learn a damn thing about Guy-Man and Thomas.

Does a pretty good job here.  I'm going to have to think about this:

The OC Went Off The Air 10 Years Ago Today, Here Are My Top Five Moments And Songs From The Show

I recently recommended this show to my friend Shamoniki and she finally took me up on my offer to borrow all four seasons on DVD about 2 weeks ago. (Physical media, I know!) Got a FB post on my timeline informing me she was on season 3 already and hadn't left the house in two days. ANOTHER CONVERT!

I'm pretty sure this is my #1 for both.  I literally cannot listen to Coldplay's "Fix You" without saying "Sorry I missed Prom.  You're just in time." and then run around yelling "Julie?  Julie!" while clutching my chest and then throwing my drink in the air and yelling "Cal?  CAL!!!"  just hoping to God someone says "What are we going to do about you?"

I somehow missed this comment until right now and that's probably my personal POTY so far.

Do you have any preferences, brand-wise, for wifi LED lightbulbs?

It's been a while since I updated this, but I just wanted to let you know that we went with Belkin WeMo Light Switches instead of changing out bulbs.  This allowed us to keep our existing track lighting and still have the automation features (except changing colors, which might appeal to someone closer to 30, but not to us).   They are coming out with dimmer switches soon, so it hasn't been a complete changeover, but we have been super happy with the App and the IFTTT possibilities.   It also works with Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant.
