You haven't seen any of Martin Scorsese's movies? There's some pretty good ones!

No, have seen most of those! I haven't seen the other films of the director of The Lobster.

I haven't seen his other movies. Will check them out.

I also really liked Hidden Figures.
He's one of my favorite directors. I suggest Gangs Of New York and Raging Bull. Then you can jump into the violent Taxi Driver [Gangs is probably one of his most violent movies though]. Then Goodfellas, Casino, & The Departed.

I absolutely love Wolf Of Wall Street too.

Yes, I've seen all of those. I have Goodfellas memorized. Although sometimes I think I like Casino more.

Manchester by the Sea was really good, but not sure I can recommend it to friends who have kids who now can't go to movies where bad things happen to kids. Just a warning there.

So, if you have AT&T on Tuesdays you can go to www.tickettwosdays.att.com and get a BOGO pass for movie tickets! Put your phone number and zip code in, then you'll receive a pin and voila. Pick your movie.

Last night I went to see Split. It was fun, but I'd say it goes along with the par-for-the-course-ness of Shyamalan. If you're a fan of his movies [or earlier movies] there is a pretty great final scene which I won't spoil for anyone. It's worth a view if you're into suspense/thrillers... or if you got a free movie ticket!

I read that you have to see split many times to fully experience it.  I like that m. night has a hit movie, and that he kept cranking them out, when he didn't.

James McAvoy is GREAT in it. There's a pretty terrifying scene near the end where he's "splitting" [I guess?] and he really kicks it into overdrive. It was entertaining enough and the ending was worth the view.

Saw a great movie/documentary last night.  Dying Laughing.  About what it's like to be a comedian.  All the big names, and Emo Philips makes an appearance!

I'm only a recent kid movie viewer, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think out of the three I listed, my least favorite of the bunch.

Ok, cool.
I see just about every single kid movie that comes out.

'Sing' was pretty generic, but goddamn did I love those KPOP foxes. When they were dancing and singing "Ninja Re Bang Bang" by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, I almost died. Both my kids were frantically whispering "DAD THAT'S YOUR MUSIC!" (And yes, I know that Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is a Japanese artist, don't @ me). I give it a 5.

Secret Life of Pets was also as generic and boring as the usual. I give it a 4. For some reason, I thought it was going to be pretty good so I invited my parents to come too. We all thought it was mediocre.

Batman Lego Movie, however, was fucking hilarious. Seriously, I haven't laughed so much in a movie in years. 8/10

I thought Zootopia was a step above most kids cartoon movies, as it had an actual plot, suspense, and some interesting ideas about identity. 6/10
