Music is the story of your life....
« on: March 30, 2006, 03:22:00 pm »
Some of this has been covered in other threads before, but I thought it would be interesting to see it all in one place.  So here goes-

 What is the:
...First album you ever bought yourself
 ...First concert you ever attended
...Album playing first time you did the nasty
...If you're married, the song you chose for first dance
 ...Last record you purchased

 Here's me:

 1- Changes One by Bowie
 2- Prince, Purple Rain tour
3- Walk Among Us by the Misfits
 4- Halleluja by Jeff Buckly
5- Blonde on Blonde by Dylan

 1. Tape: Chris De Burgh 'Into the Light' (hangs head in shame)
Vinyl: The Housemartins 'London 0 Hull 4'
 CD: can't remember

 2. U2, Croke Park, 1987

 3. No music was playing

 4. Funny story, kind of. We got married in Ireland and the band gave us a choice of 3 'firstdance' songs, Van the Man 'Have I told You Lately, A Wet, Wet, Wet Song and a Garth Brooks song. Chose Van the Man as the lesser of three evils (actually its quite a nice song) and then the feckin idiots turned around and played the Wet, Wet, Wet song!

 5. Vinyl: Something off ebay. Probably the 'We Hat You South Arican Bastards' EP by Microdisney
 Tape: No idea
 CD: Eef Barzelay
Download: Margot and the Nuclear So & Sos

It started as a joke, but the longer the joke has run, the more I think we may be serious.
