He's that "That Metal Show" guy.  He and a couple aging stand-up comics are on VH1 Classic on almost all times of the day/night waxing poetic about how great 80's metal supposedly was and interviewing people who were in bands like Winger and Cinderella.

I believe there's several, all specific to a genre of music. Classic, Soul, Country, Latin... possibly more.
