Apparently Micah P. Hinson is suddenly playing some sort of "Monument Fundraiser" at DC9 tonight? Something related to DC Vote? So strange. Don't think he's been in town since his show five or six years ago at Iota with about six people there.

He was supposed to open for Twilight Sad.

27 April - Sonar
Sepultura, Death Angel, Krisiun, Havok, and Yesterday's Saints

(Although Sepultura is a shadow of their former glory, I might go see this.  I would much rather see the real Sepultura ie Max and Igor as Cavalera Conspiracy)

I would think that had more to do with the venue (not sure which one, didnt go) and not the band.

Howard Theater updated their webpage and announced a bunch of shows.
http://thehowardtheatre.com/calendar/

The 11:30PM Start time on Fridays and Saturdays for some show is bound to get everyone arguing.

Some prices are outlandish. Like that one.

The Harlem Gospel Choir brunch is $35 but that includes food.

I guess Jerry Lee Lewis isn't going to let Chuck Berry outdo him as he wants $100 for his tickets when he plays Howard Theatre haha

Remind me again why Robyn isn't played on the radio?
