This list will make for an interesting episode of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

They'd all fight over who got to screw me, me being so beautiful and all...

They'd try to make Celeste shave her pits like all of them do.

Okay, so he's gay...how can the straight folk have copied it when the gays copied it from a gay? Italian and middle eastern men don't count.

Why is "queer" not offensive to them?

And why can't happy people not necessarily be gay anymore?

It's sort of like black people calling themselves niggers.

I've always thought queer meant cool, or going against the mainstream. Just a word that goes beyond sexuality for me.

Because they've taken ownership of the word to subvert its meaning.  Yup, just like 'nigger.'  But still means, if you're not homosexual or black, you can't use either term.

Don't know how well it works, but it's the strategy these days.

So if queer is the same as nigger, then why is it okay for the tv show to use the word? It's not like they have the nigger music awards.

Because queers run the entertainment industry, and blacks don't.

piercing is obviously nothing new, but modern body piercing would not be where it is today if not for the gay community.

I didnt know that..... A quick google search does confirm what you are saying. It does look really painful though. Despite the articles I read saying it doesnt hurt, I dont think I would take the chance.........
