Cool to see that Aggrolites mention! Definitely one of the best shows I saw this year.
 
 I guess I'll have to think about my top ten though...why oh why oh why oh why did i not go to Daft Punk?!

At work I listen to indie 97.9 on the web and during the drive home it's the oh-so-hated clear channel stations. I go to small club and coffee house shows but I can't say they would top any best of list or that they're the ones I get really excited about.  As for surviving on this board, I guess I'm intrigued by the indie-conformist mentality or I'm just easily entertained.

I saw quite a bit fewer club/arena shows this year than I have in the last five or six years [33 versus usually over 50].  I did go to two multi-day festivals, which was new for me.

 The Who and Bruce Springsteen at Verizon each get honorable mention.  The Who should probably be on the list....
 
 I missed a bunch of shows I really wanted to see like The Hives....
