Do you mean the Sculpin commercial? I thought it was weird. I thought they should have gotten a better looking spokesmodel. The commercial itself whas kind of boring. What did you think? Were there other commercials I missed?

Yeah... just quite interesting to all of a sudden see a Sculpin commercial when I'm typically used to tapping the Rockies or Clydesdales during those types of sport events. I thought the commercial was nothing special, there was also the very sentimental Latino veteran commercial with him and the boys crushing Modelos.

Also, when did mini commercials during the telecast start happening?

depends how do you define craft beer.

i recently listened to a great interview with the head brewer at August Schell which was founded in 1860.  they are definitely "craft" in my books.

so, what do you mean by "craft"?

Jim Koch for some reason likes to take credit, but Sam Adams was 1984 compared to Sierra Nevada in 1979.

The Latino guy was the first Latino astronaut. Not sure if he's a veteran, though he very well could be.

again: how are you defining "craft"?

if we're using some nebulous "you'll know it when you see it" definition, then there isn't much point in this discussion... a man sees what he wants to see and disregards the rest.

I'm sure the for a long time in its history, Yuengling was well below the artificial production levels that some people use to define micros.

but Penn Druid, Aslin, Commonwealth and Ocelot will likely be sampled too
