Fremont and Perennial Unicorn Tears at Meridian Pint on thursday is worthy of serious consideration.  the unicorn tears and head full of dynomite are both excellent.  the vanilla bean-spiked variant of Abraxas can't be a slouch either...

i assume that Space will be all over the half-price Sierra and Bruery bottles at roofer's union tonight.

Made my first Savor event appearance yesterday. Pre-birthday lunch for my wife at Brookland Pint.

I had small pours of:

FW Parabajava: A+
Founders CBS: A-
FW Coconut Rye Parabola: A--
FW 18th Anniversary: B+

She had:

FW Sour Opal (full pour) A-
NB La Folie (small pour) A (longtime favorite, especially after drinking it at both sources)

I didn't get much work done in the afternoon.

Anyone have Cloudburst at Saveur?

Went out to Cushwa Brewing Company a few weeks ago. Pretty solid beers and a cute little space.

Also, Peabody Brewing is really good!

Since I don't drink, I ignore this thread, but this seemed to be the right place for this story:

Body found in SunTrust freezer ID'd, reportedly that of beer entrepreneur

I find beer puns annoying, but that one is really good.  Takes a little work...

well that posting had two points
beer name/artwork

the other was ...they made a beer for Space (I know he is totally into Cosplay)
Although, it will probably not pass the Space price per oz cost efficiency ratio
slack

if anyone is looking for a presale code for GABF tickets, ping me.  i'm not going to use my AHA code so it's up for grabs.  gives you the right to buy saturday afternoon tickets (AKA the members-only session), early access to all tickets, plus a $5 discount on the 3 public sessions.

Read this as GYBE and was wondering why this was in the beer thread. Reading comprehension is hard.
