hey seth,

Jamiroquai has announced a few euro festival dates.  any chance your buddy sir richard could convince them to headline freefest?

this would make for a two-birds-with-one-stone situation: it would ensure that the festival had a unique headliner who would really get the party going, AND it would keep all the chin-scratching non-dancing hipster-haters away.

Wait a minute. How did my wife log in under Sweetcell's screen name? She forgot to mention having Steely Dan on the bill, but the rest sounds like her.  :)

Man, I wish I still had that picture I drew that one time of DFA1979 because it would truly add some context to his story.

those are your two favorite sp songs after all.

Pretty much for the lawn there is one PA that is put up at the beginning of the season (RCI bring it in IIRC), so that the lawn sound is consistent over the summer without going over the limits.  I wasn't at FreeFest but I work across the street and often hear sound checks at Merriweather (we could look out the window and see them build that new building last spring), so maybe they just didn't have them turned up that high?  I think these speakers have been the norm for at least 5-6 years.

Yes, please.

That way all the blockheads will be over at the bad band main stage. Like last year.  :P

I would love this also. I'm already planning on seeing them twice this year (Coachella, Brooklyn, NY show). Would love a third chance.
