Anyone think there's a chance of the Strokes headlining one of the stages? They seem to be doing some festivals this year.

Got Haggis?

Up on Twitter the 930 Club says the line-up will be anounced soon. That means a week? Or so?

last time I think they said "soon" which translated to about 2 1/2 months

I was thinking REM would be a possible headliner.   They are working on a new album now.  End of September they would be ready to premier some new songs?

Non headline guesses:

Pavement
LCD Soundsystem

Pavement could headline the smaller stage.

if i am correct in that the festival is on September 25, pollstar has Joan Jett and the Blackhearts listed that day at MPP so i guess they are the first band to be "announced" for the festival...i guess/hope they are this years Public Enemy?

i am hoping for a Soundgarden headliner personally since i am skipping Lolla now. :(

Matt and Kim's tour came out.  No local date (they play philly twice) and 9/25 open.  I think they will be in the line-up.

They're playing 9/24 in DENVER. That's in the WEST COAST. I highly doubt it.

The Canal Club? They seem kinda big for that. They may be able to do the Nat'l, no?

(hey, that show is on my bday. cool.)
