i've seen a bartender there jump over the bar and run down 9th street after a guy with a baseball bat in a similar situation (denied entry near closing, but no brick through window)

PS:  from the denials of the staff, sounds like there might be an "eggshell skull" situation, total speculation though

Last I heard of her she was scavenging around for a Griderman ticket..
