Queens said they'd be back in the US in July, so I'm really hoping that holds up. I'd much rather see them play a full set at the 9:30.

However, I can easily see them fitting into a FreeFest lineup.

Didnt Dead Milkmen play Sonar last year or the year before?
(2009 at Insubordination Fest)

I vote Aphex Twin, My Bloody Valentine, and DCFC.

While it looks like their latest album won't see the light of day in the US (and thus no US tour), any chance of flying Manic Street Preachers over here for a one-off?

Got Haggis?

I started coming up with a list of who I'd like to see there, but I'd rather see BRMC, MNDR, QOTSA, Soundgarden, Nicole Atkins, etc. with full sets at the club.

It'll be a good show regardless.

Hum

Rumor has it their on the fence about more reunion shows so it's doubtful; I think Seth should talk them off the fence and on to FreeFest.

This.  And the reunited Pulp to boot.

Though I know neither would ever happen.   :-[

I'd say "No."  What was the last Manics album that was even physically released in the United States?  I'm almost sure their last four or five haven't.  Was "This is My Truth...."?  That was 13 YEARS ago!

Now that I think of it, I'm not even sure if Pulp's last few have been physically released over here.  "We Love Life?"
I don't think the singles collection was.

The Manic's legendary Top 40 streak was just broken so....it's sort of like Ripken's streak, isn't it?  Why pay attention anymore?

FWIW, the 2 albums prior to their most recent were both released in the US and they toured here (albeit a short tour) in '09.

I've always read these boards to find out inside information, but this is my first post. I am a big Foo Fighters fan and couldn't help but noticing that they were playing in Pittsburgh on 9/23 a friday, and in buffalo on 9/25 a sunday, leaving a perfectly good Saturday at the end of September open, this has to mean Foo Fighters 9/24 at Free fest. I am wondering how everyone got their presale passcodes for last years freefest, because I could never find one last year, and was left out of freefest entirely because I couldn't get a ticket, I would like to sign up for whatever you have to sign up for to get it.
