My boyfriend has a very full beard.  It has not had a negative impact on our intimacy.

just like every other possible physical choice you can make, there are going to be people that like it and people that don't. you need to decide for yourself if making that choice is worth the reactions you will get from other people.

if you choose to grow a beard, you need to take care of it.  a little bit of conditioner goes a long way.  letting someone find out what a nice, soft, conditioned beard feels like for the first time can lead to good times for sure.

I am 47 and have no gray hair on my head but my beard comes in gray.  My wife wants me to grow beard but after the three weeks or so I think it makes me look old so I shave it.  As for chicks I think different strokes for different folks sort of thing is true.  If everyone liked the same look there would be a lot of lonely people out there.

My beard became a Van Dyke over the weekend. My wife says it's still annoyingly prickly, but she'll put up with it because she likes the look.
