Brazilian band the Tape Disaster release new free album. RIYL post rock, shoegaze, indie, etc...

Release

As one of the most original and creative indie rock bands of Porto Alegre, The Tape Disaster comes six years playing often in concerts in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina. With the support of the seals and Mr F Virtual Sinewave, the band released in May 2011 in Opinion, the first EP titled Augmented Reality, containing five songs.

The latest work, entitled The Voice of Fire (2012) is an EP of two songs recorded and mixed in the studio by Sebastian Carsin Hurricane. The Tape The Disaster confi now? Rma as one of the highlights of Brazilian instrumental music.

It would be too cliche to say that the band has an independent genre? Finível. From? Finível perhaps, but the complexity of this tumultuous cause contradictions. The sound of the quartet Porto Alegre has reference to the instrumental genre. But the big problem is that just name them that way would be a crime and in the references? Fluences that are synthesized for each millisecond of the songs. Interestingly, the sound is characterized by these vast infl? Uências that each member carries, not a particular genre that simply chose to follow. They walk into the unknown without losing focus.

The Tape Disaster is universal music, wandering around town to hear, to taste in transit, to accompany us on rainy days and sunny. Just take care not to trip over or hitting your car. Their songs are instrospectivas and require much preparation, so take care of yourself even more, for this insight causes us euphoria, waking self. Today, the different scares, while in glorify? Ca. "Gloria is a quiet moment," and the instruments are autossufi? Aware.

We'll see. I think this is the first time the news came from MBV themselves, plus the first appearance of updated artwork. Looks legit.

Psych rock from newest additions to Austin Psych Fest
Secret Colours - EP3

What would west coast pop art experimentalism sound like filtered through an industrial midwest prism? No clue, but perhaps Secret Colours can shine some light on that. The newly minted Chicago quintet channels the finest in the greats of late '60s psychedelia, '90s newgaze reverence, and a touch of driving, bucolic, no frills RnR straight from the greasiest of garages

Dean Garcia (SPC ECO, Curve) - Das Haus Volume One

Quote
Das Haus is a compilation of various ideas and collaborations made with the people I like to work with. The album explores a multitude of moods and styles from industrial alternative rock to chilled out dark core lounge. It's been fun compiling this collection, I'll add to it or make a volume two as time goes on, it's also a way to promo the various projects that I'm involved with that will spawn EP or album releases at some point in 2012.

More Dean Garcia goodness.  This one is a collection of songs Dean did the music for, and his daughter Rose Berlin did the vocals.  It was recorded at their home when Rose was just 15.  A bit more pop and less shoegaze than other releases, but still great.  Rose has a beautiful voice and Dean never disappoints.  I actually like that her singing is more of the focus, and not fuzzed out guitars and hard drums.
