Zack must in town to protest Trump methinks.
I don't know why anyone would listen to his political thoughts after basically writing an album telling people voting for Gore instead of Bush was throwing your vote away because it was all the same. RATM is the exogenesis of Bernie Bros.

this is America . . . we only listen to people who are "now relevant."  people don't care about gore anymore; in 5 minutes from now no one will care about Bernie anymore and they sure as shit don't care what zack thinks.

maybe zack should fight soulja boy.

totally my thinking too

its amusing to see all these "progressives" now freaking out about Trump.. where were they???? where the fuck where they?

And i am thinking they will get their way and have the 76 year old Bernie on ballot in 2020.. and I think he will lose.

Frank did not let down, show 2006

the first song was killer https://youtu.be/Z3CmycG8YGc
Sand in the Gears (for the next 4 years)

place was packed to the gills

Kazoo's are now apparently a thing now

Really fun show. Glad I was able to record that first song. I saw that he was coming out alone, and thought, this will be something new/special.

It had been so long since I'd seen Mike Mesaros playing bass with the Smithereens I had forgotten how much  he has been missed.. he really brings an extra power/drive to their sound...

Really cool songlist including 7 out of 10 songs from 11

I saw Kubacheck but he was way up front with his Luna shirt.... Pat I think even mentioned him at one point.. something like "How's it sounding Joe?".... I guess he really is a hardcore Smithereens fan...

Pat has lost significant weight... but I guess has some issue with his arm.. he did not come out for the signing after the show....maybe due to that fact

I enjoyed talking to the Jim, Denis and Mike after the show...all in all a pretty special night

They seemed really happy to be playing together again...

^^^ ha!!.... I know Pat a little bit through my friend Joe, who Pat was actually acknowledging in that exchange, he's the hardcore fan.... I'm a step down from "hardcore", I just always have a great time at a Smithereens show...  last night was no exception.... one good thing about going to the State Theater half of the annual State Theater/Rams Head weekend is that since they're only doing one show in Falls Church, they go all out, the show was about 2:40ish long.... Mike was definitely having a great time and it was great having him there.... last year, Pat didn't have the use of one arm due to a fall, he told us it was because he fell down on the ice and had nerve damage.... this time, it seemed like he didn't have the use of either arm, so it seems like there's something seriously wrong.....

Pat DiNizio looked horrible, sounded great.  Two unusable arms have to make life very, very difficult.  He was obviously very tired during 2nd show (openly yawning during guitar breaks).  I was hoping that he would've been a little healthier since last years shows, but it looks like his nerve condition is  getting worse.  Anybody know if he's still undergoing treatment and what the prognosis of arm use is?

It was a solid B+ show. I found myself wishing they'd do an LP of original songs. Their respective sounds/voices play well off each other. I enjoy this project more than I do the Matthew E White solo LPs.
