Good that Flasher are getting big...I saw them couple years ago (with Sneaks and Gauche) and thought they had great potential. Next thing you know they’re signed with Domino! New album is indeed great.

That’s a good double bill too with Dehd! Hope u guys caught them.

Flasher also having Girls of Trade on the bill was so fucking punk rock. Trashy (I use that term fondly) drag queens just doing their thing felt so necessary after how awful the last week was in the world of news. It so cheered me up to see one lip sync "Violet" by Hole...it really set a great tone for me. It was a fun night.

Flasher was great. I really enjoyed their set and thought they looked and sounded great. It was funny seeing Azagh standing like a sphinx in the front row as everyone around him was going bananas.

Dehd were interesting. I liked them a lot -- except when the dude guitar player would sing, which was awful. I really liked his guitar playing though, and the bass player had a perfectly lovely voice, so it was always a bummer when he would open his mouth.

Girls of Trade were amazing. A perfect way to open the show.

Also, I realize that the Feelies are beloved board canon, but four encores is ridiculous.

Agreed, I wish they'd just stay there and play 8 songs instead of constantly leaving the stage. It gets to be silly. That's the only thing that I just think is tedious. Plus, the crowd starts to noticeably dwindle.

At Cat's Cradle the left the stage 6 times during encores, which is insane. They played 40 songs. (No I wasn't there.)

Maybe they need to catch their breath. They're older than most of us boardies (shit, that's old!).

The fact that they're not burned out on touring affords them the chance to play 3 or 3 1/2 hours when they do play. It's always worth seeing them. You just have to be ready for a long evening.
