was it all good looking people?  i just assume, only good looking people go see them.  when i went to see them at the club, it was the beautiful people everywhere.  and they were snorting caviar daydreams and chugging champagne auras.
well the dudes didn't look like Riff Raff ...so I don't really know if they were your type

but the people snorting caviar daydreams sound like Julian's peeps, not the Alt-J crowd.
They kinda looked like they might have still been living with their parents

I guess he's become more weird with his semi fame. One of my buddies played a festival with him a couple years ago and they shared a hotel room. He said he was super quiet and nice. Fast forward to this year and some of my other buds who have played with him said he's a huge coke head and spaz in general lol.

It is because he has been spending too much time with Andy Milonakis.

Hahaha! Honestly though they're in a trio [or were in a trio] called "Three Loco", it was Riff Raff, Andy, and Dirt Nasty [aka actor Simon Rex] and they ARE hilarious.

Three Loco are the shit.  I have been patiently waiting for the followup to ¡Three Loco! to drop (I am a fan which is why I mentioned Riff and Andy spending too much time together).

Did you hear the original We Are Farmers tune? Diplo produced it using the "Farmers" commercial jingle then they threatened to sue so he made another beat and ended up rapping on it as well. Hilarious.

so Le Guess Who? was pretty great.  My only complaint was that there was some overlap of people I wanted to see and there was just no way to make it happen, several of the venues were a 30+ minute walk from the main venue (which was insane....it basically had 2 930 club sized venues in it, and 2 black cat sized ...all in one building)  - for example I wanted to see both Prurient and Cut Hands but there was overlap and they were 2 miles apart.  I choose Prurient, and boy did I choose poorly.  Dude had a breakdown on stage, played 20 minutes out of his 40 minute slot.....was having tons of equipment problems.   What can you do.

I managed to see: Swans, Wire, Ben Frost, Savages / Bo Ningen, Prurient, Sir Ricahrd Bishop, Xylouris White, Okkyung Lee, Leaftcutter John, Autechre, Einsturzende Neubauten, Selda (!!), St. Vincent, Tune-Yards, Suuns & Jerusalem In My Heart, Baba Zula,  William Basinski, Stephen O'Malley, Tim Hecker

Swans were incredible as always....highlights for me were: Savages / Bo Ningen performing 'Words to the Blind' - it was simply incredible, Swans (my favorite band sooo...) and Ben Frost.  Einsturzende were great, but I'm not really into concept albums..and that is what they played.

I kind of fell in love with the Netherlands.  I had been to Amsterdam before....but this felt more like the 'real' holland. Managed to visit Amersfoort + Rotterdam as well.

Really enjoyed both Interpol shows, glad that they mixed up the setlist and that I got to hear "Leif Erikson" on the second night. Some cool stuff like "Take You on a Cruise" and "PDA" were played the first night though. Great lighting as well. I always enjoy seeing those guys.

Death From Above 1979 was just wow. Very wow. My only complaint was that is was very heavy on the new album, but luckily the new album kicks a lot of ass. I also didn't like that they teased playing "Pull Out" and totally did not. But, I'll take all the complaints back because I got to see Death From Above 1979 after 9 years. Wow.
