At this point, teams are just throwing at Machado because it fun to watch him cry, right?

Doesn't mean Sale isn't a knucklehead.

The Angels have acquired right-hander Damien Magnifico from the Orioles in exchange for righty Jordan Kipper.  Both teams have announced the deal, and both players have been assigned to their new clubs? respective Triple-A affiliates.

There sure are a lot of people who like the Os, around here.  I hate birds, so fuck them.

Red Sox proving yet again why NE fans and players can be total assholes. So glad they won that last game.

Britton back to DL.

Rushed back against the advice of the medical staff and will now be out 2 months.

No structural damage detected, so there is that.

“It rained all day that day, and the forecast said it would rain until 9:30 or 10,” Rizzo said. “I sat in Buck’s office at 6:30, and we talked about it for 20 minutes. He was 100-percent on-board. He didn’t say anything about not canceling the game.

“Their GM [Dan Duquette] was nowhere to be found for three, four hours.

We wanted to play the next day. They refused to play then, so the next [open] day was [Thursday]. They drove 32 miles to get there. We flew 3,000 [expletive] miles, and we beat their [behinds]. So quit your whining. Quit whining.”

Both teams had a lot to whine about this past weekend. Nats fans can be thankful that there aren't any other quality teams in their division. The Yankees are scary good right now.
