Single team streaming option for 2016:

http://www.si.com/mlb/2015/12/29/mlb-live-streaming-single-team-games-2016-season

Is this something you can play on your TV via Roku, or does it just mean streaming on your laptop?

you can stream it through Roku and other compatible devices..... I stream my MLB.TV through my PS3 or Roku, depending on which room I'm in.....

Single team streaming option for 2016:

Interesting.  It would have to be a significant savings for me to give up the whole package as I like to watch good pitching matchups, record breaking opportunities and games where the cycle or no hitter/perfect games are possible.

Paul DePodesta is leaving the Mets to become the NFL Cleveland Browns' executive VP!

I could see leaving before last season (or any time in the last 5 years!) but now?  That's an incredible move.

Which headline is funnier?

Sources: Dodgers hire Alex Anthopoulos to front-office spot

Sources: Maeda's health delays Dodgers' deal

Griffey Jr and Piazza elected to Hall of Fame.

Junior set a new record with 99.3% yes vote.

Mark McGwire and Alan Trammell do not qualify for the next ballot.

really surprised to see edmonds as a one and done. didnt think hed realistically sniff induction but 11 votes is harsh.

also surprised bagwell didnt make the jump with piazza

other than that its about as expected. shame to see griffey come three votes shy of unanimous.

Giants sign Denard Span to 3-year deal

$31m plus incentives...

He will lead the league in triples if he can stay healthy.

I'm looking at the payroll numbers now and will definitely put them in Luxury Tax land.  I'm not sure J Upton is worth the Luxury Tax and a draft pick.

I mean, do you see that pile of crap platoon we were considering rolling out in left?

Upton is only 28, opt out after 2. Apparently at $132.5.

Todd Cunningham
Craig Gentry
Efron Navarro
Ji Man Choi
Daniel Nava
Rafael Ortega

All currently on the Angels 40 man roster and one is expected to play in Left Field each night.  This after the Angels posted the worst production in left filed in like 30 years...

I won't listen to any one else talk about left field problems.

My friend who's a Braves fan tells me to tell you "Friends don't let friends start Todd Cunningham."
