I always forget the drinks thing, but that makes a big difference
if you go with a bunch of friends and pay the tab (and they pay you back)
you can get 50-100 points depending on how much they drink

Also merch is fwb points too...

yes my problem is I always forget that...I mean really when I bought the records at sleaterkinney was I going to flash my card? they were jam packed! and at the bar it seems so burdensome to the bar tender to give them the card.....

I almost mentioned sk but didn't want to bring it up as I knew you'd feel bad
(only caveat...only time I used it at the merch table was to buy those $12 930 earplugs)

The Last Audio Cassette Factory

Springfield, MO-based National Audio Company opened in 1969 and when other major manufacturers abandoned tape manufacturing for CD production in the late 1990s, the company held on tight. Now, the cassette maker is pumping out more cassettes than ever before.

Over/under on how long before Smackie shows up and comments about the absurdity of physical media and disruptive technology? I'll put it at 40 minutes.

No, my beef with tapes is totally different.

They sound like shit, are completely unreliable nor durable, and were only used because of their ability to be both portable and dub - two advantages we have far surpassed with modern technology.

Anyone who uses them now is just being ironic.  But I guess some one needs to cater to neanderthals.   Maybe they can do it in exchange for shaving off those stupid mustaches?

Well that was bound to happen. He's been on since like 1993! Good on him being the elder statesman.

oh sports threads...
you'd think the music related ones would have more traffic on a message board associated with a Music club???
