The Butthole Surfers were originally called The Inalienable Right to Eat Fred Astaire's Asshole.

Wow, interesting and sad.

Nearest shooting to my house, this year: 3.1 miles.
Nearest fatal shooting: 5.5 miles.

Thankfully, nothing in my neighborhood.

"There have been 2 shootings within a 20-mile radius of this point in the past year, 2 fatal and 0 non-fatal. The closest shooting was 16.46 miles away."

that was my neighborhood.  not included, were deer, bear and squirrel statistics . . . and sometimes the damn raccoon in the bird feeder.

I shot a bird with a bb gun when I was maybe 11. I cried for a long time, and haven't touched a gun since that day.

don't worry, I would have done the same thing.  my dad taught me how to shoot guns and it was fun, but I never shot a living thing.  nope . . . could not do that.  maybe, if it was a zombie, and I had to.  ok, then.

by definition, zombies are not alive.  so your moral code will be unviolated if you shoot one.

au contraire mon frère, don't even go there . . . their brains are alive, thus making them alive.  you still feel zombie death guilt.  just ask that one girl on the walking dead who had to look at flowers to calm down.

Nothing new, and not limited to famous people.

I was working on "Dogimony" negotiations in Orange County back in the mid-nineties before I even went to law school.  It's also one of the many reasons why I would never practice family law.
