At the end of the 9/11 ride, do all the riders crash into a building?

not all, only three quarters of them.  the other quarter lay out in field.

(you realize we're both going straight to hell for this, right?)

let's be clear on my distain for Sports
Pro/College sports that people watch on tv/phones or read about - no likey
Playing actual sports or attending a sporting event - good stuff
huey lewis and the news sports - as a tween...loved it, but it's aged poorly. Ray Parker Jr...he's a dick.  What I find funny is RPJ lost, HL commented on it 20 years later and RPJ sued HL

getting back on topic......

Family, biking, beer and music are my four greatest pleasures in life - as noted in another thread I am riding the civil war century on Saturday for the 4th year in a row a beautiful ride starting off in Thurmont MD, then PA incl riding thru Gettysburg battlefield and returning to Thurmont - I also bike commute to work and MTB during the winter - closing in on 3,300 miles so far this year

Also did a killer ride two weeks ago in the Shenandoahs - 72 miles and 8,000 feet climbing

Niall Brennan on Strava if anyone is into that sort of thing

Letting his young daughters roam the neighborhood on their own while he goes off and rides his bike all day.  ;D

I ride my bike at Hains Point every Saturday from around 1 to 3. I love Hains because it's like deathmatch racing on a 3.2 mile loop. You can just show up, start riding, and take down fools that get in your way. I had a head-to-head with a guy for 6 laps a month or so ago. I swear we didn't get more than 10 feet apart the entire time, it was a long, dragged-out dog fight until I finally pulled away and dropped him. Was probably prouder in that moment than when my children were born.

Hains Point is a gift from Washington DC to bikers.

Did this trip a couple years back.  It was totally sublime.  Climbing 6,000 feet in a day and getting swallowed by mud and forced to find a detour didn't feel so great at the time, but I would do the trip again in a heartbeat:
