Elvis Costello AND the Attractions (Bruce Thomas, Steve Nieve and Pete Thomas)- This Year's Model
I never tire of this... much nicer with the bonus tracks too...

just saw this 2008 release with Disc two (Live at the Warner Theatre, Washington, DC, 28 February 1978)

Elvis Costello has the craziest reissues.... his albums have reissued more times in more different configurations than anybody else..

yeah Bowie is the other one..but Costello adds stuff to each reissue that makes them necessary! He has way more outtakes and extra tracks and live shows, I think, thank Bowie...

There are many joao Gilberto records that might make this list but he is just that amazing combined with almost always having the def versions of jobim songs

Other Joao records on my list are his debut Chega de saudade from 59, Getz Gilberto from 64, and Joao Gilberto en Mexico (really underrated) from 1970

out of 500 albums, 9 are from 2000 and nothing after that.  elvis needs to park his nostalgia and listen to some new stuff.
