PISSED OFF

I attended the 9:30 club on Friday and Saturday nights, and I am thoroughly pissed off about how rude some of the people that work at this club are.  <BR>    I was kicked out of the club on Friday night for underage drinking, yeah it was dumb, but people do dumb shit when they are drunk.  I was at fault, I am aware of this.  What I am angered about is the poor treatment that I was given.  I was physically removed from the club, even though I did not refuse to leave.  <BR>     I decided that I wanted to go back and actually see Galactic on Saturday night, some good sober fun.  As you know it gets quite hot in the club so I stepped outside to get some fresh air.  When I tried to get back into the club I was told that I was not allowed back in, they said that I had gotten kicked out earlier in the show (this is the furthest thing from the truth).  I had to wait outside the door until some one of a higher autority came by, while waiting for this person to arrive another one of the bouncers asked another bouncer, if I was kicked out.  She replied in a rude manner, "Yeah she was kicked out tonight, and she was kicked out last night, she's stupid, should have learned her lesson last night."  Then about two seconds later the person of higher authority came by and allowed me to re-enter the club, letting the other workers know that I was not kicked out earlier.  I went back in and enjoyed the rest of the show.  <BR>    As I was leaving this same rude woman shook her head at me saying, "You never cease to amaze me, you get kicked out two night and work you way with the bouncers and get let back in."  I am appalled that there are such childish people working at this club.  Block those people out they are upset that you are having a fun time, enjoy the music, and if you are under 21 don't drink, take it from me they are assholes about that you will get caught.

Well at least you admitted you were wrong about the under age drinking part and that you shoulda been kicked out. How they kicked you out I dont know, its something i woulda had to seen myself. I've never personally had problems with any of them but i have witnessed some pety stuff that they coulda just let go. Being previosly in law enforcement for most of my life I know some things you just let go. Some people let power get to their head. A warning once in awhile over minor things would be nice. Kinda like cops give warning tickets. Anyways like i said i've never had a problem with them but this topic seems to come up quite a bit. So i guess next time you WON'T be drinking underage??

they could loose their license for giving you drinks,when you reach 21 you will have plenty of years to damage your liver and do many stupid things that you will blame on the alcohol.<BR>but for now you can go and stand in a corner and think about your actions.....

Alright bungle bud, I am not saying that I am pissed off about getting caught drinking, that was not my claim, I was just frustrated with the poor treatment that I recieved at the 9:30 club.  Yeah, I deserved to get kicked out, I am not arguing with this.  I should not have been hassled the next night that I went, and the rude comments that were directed at me were unnecessary.  Thats all.

Yeah... unless they engaged in physical violence while removing you, I got no sympathies.  If it were my bar or club and I had to kick someone out for whatever reason, I'd not let 'em back in either, that night or any ensuing night.  Why take chances with peeps who've already displayed sketchy behavior?

I am not saying that I am pissed off about getting caught drinking, that was not my claim, I was just frustrated with the poor treatment that I recieved at the 9:30 club.  Are you failing to see what I have said?  Seriously, I know I should not have been drinking, thats not why I am angry.  When I went back on Saturday night I was treated with much disrespect, for no reason.  I agree with all of you saying that I should not be drinking underage, but I should not be treated like a piece of shit either.

Well, I'm just guessing that from the perspective of the 9:30 staff, they probably have to deal with this exact same situation 100s of times every week, and probably a good portion of the people they have to eject give them shit.  So it's probably hard to be cordial to peeps who are pulling sketchy stuff after a while.<P>A lot of really bad shit happens in this world, and your experience on that scale barely registers...  get over it, I'd say.

Yo I personally think ya'll need to back up off of Space Bird! This kid is just like any of you other people who drank underage when you weren't 21. Did you ever care about the people who might lose their jobs because you were drinking? This person is obviously not sayin they are upset about bein' kicked out cause they were drinking, they are talking about the rude manner it was done in. They didn't resist leaving there is no need for physical contact whatsoever, no excuses....that too is against the law just like underage drinking no one can ever touch you in a way you dislike unless they are posing a threat to you. I've personally used a fake I.D. before to drink underage there before and it is obviously not me and I've never even once been picked on just because I have a card that says I'm old enough to so someone there obviously doesnt care too much about losing their liquor license. The liquor license is an important issue I agree but if I can get away with it why shouldn't other kids be allowed to? oh yeh and "JOYMONSTER" learn how to spell responsible I mean you can at least spell things correctly if you are going to lash out at someone.<BR>

Going into any private place of business is a privledge, not a right. I work in the restaurant/bar/entertainment business, and where i work, as well as the extreme majority of those places of business around me, if you are kicked out, for almost any reason, you are not welcome there for a reasonably long time, from minor infrations, a couple months, to major ones (like underage drinking and fighting), years. If I was the doorman (or doormen) that kicked you out, and I saw you in line the NEXT NIGHT, you would not get in, period. Their job is too hard to let policy offenders in again and have one more jackass to keep an eye on all night. You can disagree with me all you like, but ask any doorman, bouncer or manager of the 9:30 Club or elsewhere, and I guarantee they'll back me up 100%. Try again when you're 21, kid.....but not til then

This person knows they were at fault for drinking in the club the issue here is that they were physically removed from the club after not resisting to leave when asked to. And everyone who is so quick to jump on Space Bird and say they were right they shouldnt have let you back....well read about because they did let this person back in they obviously couldnt have felt they were that much of a threat if they were allowed back into the club. The bitchy woman was just pissed because she proly felt embarrassed after being a jerk and saying this person had been kicked out of the club that night when they hadn't been and then someone of higher authority than her overuled her decision to keep this person outside. <P><BR>
