Holy CRAP Limp Bizkit is doing a real life concert in 2014!?

Man, I want to go just to see how bad it is. Isn't Fred Durst like 50 now? Just stop, dude.
I feel like several of us meeting up and going to this simply to snark about the crowd would be the most 930.com thing ever to 930.com.
It would be so sad to see some "old school" Limp Bizkit fans with their "vintage" tees on turning their noses up at all the "new fans". Ugh.

Regardless of how big of a shit show this could be (MGK is also atrocious), I am looking forward to this once in a lifetime (for me) experience.

Will do.

I kind of want to go to this since I wrote up that blurb but we'll see.

No worries... Let me know because with the stuff I am doing Thursday, Friday, and Sunday I might end up taking Saturday off.  But I will definitely do the Iceage show if you want to go.  Just give me a heads up before Friday.

Nick cave movie at the AFI
probably Wednesday

Actually am going to catch this at the Angelika Popup @ Union Market,
Wow this was way better than expected!  I was already going into it thinking it was going to be great, but this really was one of the best movies on music/creativity/storytelling/the magic of a intimate live performance.  Nick is awesome and so is Warren Ellis an not to mention some great cameos by Blixa, Klylie and bearded Ray Winstone
This is a must see movie even if you are lukewarm on Mr Cave.
Although it was just the wife and 5 other people in the theater, I see they just extended it's showing until oct 16th at the Angelika Popup @ Union Market (AFI only has it one more night)

Nick spends some time discussing the intimacy that he has with the audience members  in the front row (with his 'therapist') and there are some great scenes to compliment this
I'm sure K8tbug and Dycrig can both relate how real this connection can be

Wish I could remember some of the quotes, but apparently most of this was not scripted and him just ad libbing.
RS interview with nick
see this movie!

I need to see that movie. Was too busy this week to hit up AFI.

Yes, being in the front at Nick Cave is something special. Special and uncomfortable at the same time!
