Welly, welly, well...

Was this film the Citizen Kane of comic book movies, or what?

I read some not very complimentary reviews. I cannot wait to see the movie now.

Saw it Saturday. Actually wanted to see Batman but couldn't get seats for the time we wanted! Since F4 was on about 4 screens we went to see that instead. Have to say i was entertained, but it's pretty light fare. Only really had 2 or 3 "action" set-pieces and it felt as though they were just setting everyone up for the sequel where they can really get an adventure story going.

We saw "My Summer of Love" Friday. Now that was a good movie. Best British movie since I don't remember what. Then "March of the Penguins" yesterday. Not so good.

It's nowhere near the realm of quality of either Spiderman movie or Batman Begins, but I found it to be a surprisingly enjoyable popcorn movie. I will say it ran out of steam a bit in the third act, but it was entertaining nonetheless.
