Scott Weiland's new stuff. I think even some of you music snobs might enjoy it.

I've been listening to Novillero, the Shins and The Holloways. Gotta love the lyrics to Generator. Always makes me happy and picks me up when I'm feeling blue. Also have been listening to Paul Weller's 99 dreams. Can't get over how good that show was in September.

Always on my ipod, New Order, English Beat, Killers, The Who, Beck and The Jam.

Not the new release but I have an EP I bought a year or two ago and everything was lost on me. Even had a song linked up on Air Atlantic Underground Radio when I first started broadcasting the station but had to stop streaming it because the song was getting on my nerves so badly. Honestly don't know if I'm just listening to the wrong releases or if that band and I don't mesh. I do want to hear it though since so many others with similiar tastes seem to like it.

It's nothing earth-shattering but I thought it was pretty solid and enjoyable.

Odetta - "House of Rising Sun"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYlYBhDlEZ4&feature=related

Must be her last performance (October 2008) at Golden Gate Park. Biggest regret of 2008 = didn't fly to SF to see her and the rest of the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass fest  :'(
