hey Kosmo.....

the first is today, so is it today or tomorrow? Please make it today, or after 10 tomorrow night.

We already have Rhett Miller tickets, but its an early show. It would be cool to see two things and you two...

Cool, thanks for the clarification, Kosmo. So are you two going to that and or Rhett Miller? I have never been to the place before, hadnt heard of it till last week, so I would appreciate someone to hold my hand.

i've never been to the blue nile...

pete say "9:30 I think..." for the start time.

dunno know about rhett miller, kosmette has to work sunday so she'll probably pass on both.

pete is warming up for otis finch who describes themselves as

"Otis Finch is what happens when four guys who listen to everything from jazz, rock , funk and pop, come together to make music in a land filled with cookie-cutter, sound-alike bands. With their introspective lyrics, exhilarating playing, and strong vocal harmony, Otis Finch have a uniquely original--yet highly accessible--sound. A sound that makes you think while inviting you to dance, a sound that rattles your eardrums while it soothes your soul. The guys have been spreading the word around the Washington DC area since 2001. Have you heard?"

which i think is code for we like the david matthews band.

  jazz,
Jazz: the last bastion of the untalented? That is an awful description of a band that makes them sound like Jamiroquai. Please god, NO!

So If the other half isnt going, are you?

Isn't that the standard bio for most good time bands?  Time to decide on a genre.  Rock and jazz don't mix too well.  Unless you're Miles or McLaughlin.

Don't worry Markie, I'll turn you onto some good jazz and you'll be singing it's praises like it's the new thing on this board.

Rhett can attest that it's already happened with country.
