have you ever been told that it's BAD MANNERS to badger someone into a bet?  he's already informed you what he's willing to wadger.

It's not my goal to badger him into a wager, I just find it insulting that I make him a perfectly good offer and he comes back with something that HE KNOWS I cannot reasonably be in for. The bad manners is trying to price me out of a bet. I have to put food in my kid's mouths!
