Cold Play and Snow Patrol
« on: May 07, 2005, 03:58:00 am »
Okay, why does Snow Patrol constantly get compared to Coldplay, Keane, etc.....  I think Snow Patrol is not nearly in that VH1 camp of mellow whatever it is....  Listen to Wow, Spitting Games, Chocolate (which I just saw S.P. perform on Leno.....good stuff), Tiny Little Fractures, Glaeming Auction, etc.  This is not wimpy music.  So, why??

One word....Run!  Yeah, I know, it's not fair, but they're always getting compared to those boring tw*ts because of that one single.

I know, I know...."Run"  Blah.

PS, I was a tad tipsy last night when I got home and saw the Leno appearance (it was the replay at 3:00 a.m.), so I was rarin' to defend my boys.

Great night of Decemberists and I Fought The Big One at Marx Cafe.....YEAH.
