suck might be a bit harsh, as many times as i have seen him w/dilated, the roots and even with the beastie boys and doom he n never really seems to have that real good live show, but bdk and the roots rocked it a while back.

The Kweli show was pretty good - lots of energy. I liked the openers more than I thought I would too. Only downside? Too many commands to raise arms, clap ya hands, light up your phones. I hate that sh*t.

Saw him open for John Legend recently and was pretty disappointed. He didn't seem to play entire songs - skipped a verse in one of the best hip hop songs of all time, "I Used to Love H.E.R."

Though I've heard positive reviews about shows he headlines.

I thought the "eleanor rigby" cover was a bit out of place, seemed to take the crowd by surprise too. But damn I love that song - I got into it.
