I mean it makes sense.. when bands do reunions its almost always for the money.. so you want to make the most money possible on a per show basis FIRST.. then maybe if you're feeling it a bit you say "well, is it worth it for me to do more shows for less money......knowing I'll be jeopardizing my chances for bigger shows -if i want them- next year and knowing i'll end up maybe even having to play some of the same venues I was playing back in the day?"
Pavement when they did their reunion, for example, did not come back and play the 930...
now in Ween's case you have the added wrinkle of Aaron's addiction(s)... I think with that in mind the chances of a real tour are pretty limited.. more like in and out clean- pun intended- scattered shows...
this is where not having a festival kills us because they could have done a Virgin Freefest...they would have been a natural fit..
