looks pretty cool.  i vaguely remember seeing the original tom waits/iggy pop short in the early 90s.  looks like jarmusch kept that footage and added some new stuff around it.

This kind of policy making  ignores the fact that the quality of music and movies and art generally have declined in step with the decline of cigarette smoking. Not to mention the decline of political discourse, criticism and public conversation generally.

Interesting theory but just not sure I can fully buy it

Not to mention all the artists that died prematurely from health issues surely directly or indirectly stemming from smoking. Kieslowski comes to mind….and although Bowie was a spent force surely the world would be better with him in it. Nat King Cole of course….

But I get where you are coming from…
