And thankfully I think it only took about 15 minutes to get out of the parking lot. Got there at 8pm, saw Rev. Billy's last song...we ended up in a parking lot that wasn't too crowded, which made getting out relatively easy. Was back home in DC in like 45 minutes I think? Really not awful experience, but I was bracing for something much worse. Was home and in bed by the time the storm hit.

I really couldn't ask for a better, more inspiring show. That was total bucket list for me. It went by so damn fast. Neil sounds pristine, and goddamn he can shred. One of the best concerts I've ever seen. I actually loved the solo acoustic portion...I loved all of it. "Love and Only Love" was just unreal. All of it. "Cinnamon Girl" sounded as perfect as it could ever be. The sound was just incredible. I never thought that I'd get to see a band at this stage of their career and lives put on such an incredible performance. I could have watched them for another hour and still probably felt like it wasn't long enough.

+1
I am still in awe. Just got goosebumps

I swear to god at one point I turned to a stranger sitting next to me and we said to each other “This is just incredible”

And it’s not that Neil is 78. It was incredible period. I feel very blessed to have been there after all these years wanting to see him.

cromags and helmet...kinda of an early show (doors at 6:30)

If you can get me a ticket I am.  But I refuse to take part in IMP's LYTE ticket scalping scheme (Lyte).

hmm, in the past i didn't think you could 'mark up' your resale?
face with fees was $68 and Lyte lists at $98

also that ticket exchange thing is up for both venues...but different than the verified resale?

I still see $200+ tickest for the GBV show (someone has some at $318!)
https://www.ticketexchangebyticketmaster.com/the-atlantis-tickets/venue/20686
someone listed a maniquin pussy one for $600!

https://www.ticketexchangebyticketmaster.com/9-30-club-tickets/venue/2128

if you wanted to go to the Friday Fontaines DC show...you could pay over $100
https://www.ticketexchangebyticketmaster.com/fontaines-dc-been-stellar-tickets-washington-dc-10-18-2024/tickets/4264408?_ga=2.43308453.1476326363.1715695527-1936576500.1715695527

people are listing tix for shows that aren't even sold out?

We got to the car...moved about 5 feet, then didn't move an inch for about 45 minutes. The only reason we moved after that was because someone next to us pulled through and empty parking space, creating an alternate way out. It took about an hour, overall, to get out of the lot.  Not the best.  Far from the worst.

We broke our "No JLL except for Dead stuff" rule for the first time in 14 years.  Worth it, but I'm not anxious to go back.
