didn't the "kid" win it all on an ace high??!!!

Anybody who watches or plays pokers knows that you don't win on the last hand - you've usually put yourself in a position to win much earlier in the game, and that's the hand you'll remember.

I made it to hand 100 in last night's WSOP main event.

I'm not sure what the ratings are going to indicate, but ESPN will probably rethink how they did that last night.  Finishing after midnight on the west coast, I doubt many east coast folks watched the final or set their DVR for nearly long enough to see the last hand.

I tried but there was no way I could make it to 3am. Watching live and seeing every hand and not just edited highlights is so much better, ESPN should make sure they use one of their many outlets to show it like that in the future, if not necessarily on the mothership.

i thought in poker, everything happens because of luck.

I liked not seeing the hand until it was over and, even when I was bored on a couple of occasions, I couldn't take my eyes off of it not knowing if the next hand was going to be the last hand.

I'm not sure every heads up match is going to change chip lead 9 times, but it was quality TV for a Tuesday night.

If you're not at work and have a very 'open' lady friend, I'd Google the following:

Massive Attack :  Paradise Circus (very NSFW)

I didn't include a direct link for fear that I'd lose my posting privileges.

Great remix, better video.

Google Music has just dropped the "beta" label, now allows for in Android Market purchasing via web or phone market and.....

Free track sharing if you purchase from the Android Market.

You can share a full album with your friends via Google+ or via email notification for ONE free FULL listening - not samples of tracks (Google Music account required).

Indie artists are allowed to set their own prices for their music.

hope you bought, 'cause looks like this ship just might be turning around:

Shares of Netflix (NFLX) rose 7% following the news.

I did, but not for any short term gain.  They are a complete disaster right now.  I've dated women who are more stable than Netflix right now.

I guess this means the Amazon merger is off....

chances are amazon will want to wait for netflix's lawsuit to clear up:

I fucking LOVE Tony Stewart and I'm not afraid to admit it.

He also just won me a ton of cash.

Hard drive shortage pushes prices up 150%

Very happy that I bought that 1TB portable a few weeks ago. Not happy for Thailand though.

Anything happen today that I should know about?

well, not today (or yesterday) specifically, but you should know that my Samsung Galaxy S-II has been provisioned, the screen is gorgeous, i'm absolutely LOVING this little piece of tech, and that i'm most grateful for all your advice.  having spent time with the missus' iphone i am certain that i made the right choice.  this thing really is a computer that makes phone calls too.  i used to be against making phones over-complicated... now i can't get enough.  loving the large screen, and the voice recognition software on it is amazingly precise.

that, and you got some used ball players that no one over here cares about.
