Turns don’t matter?

Is this more Yada slippery slope morality?

Turns don’t matter and never did?

Tell that to the tens of thousands of elderly people that aren’t dying cause they got vaccinated ahead of people waiting their turn?

Yeah, I think this process is garbage. I know multiple that want to get vaccines that can't (or should I say couldn't) and multiple people that could have access to it based on supply (yet can't because of "turns").

Also, what is different today for schools in terms of letting children go back that is any different from one year ago today?

Lots of wasted time and effort hutchess.

Vaccine Shamers - People that think they're on some upper level tier of humanity because they're waiting their "turn" for the vaccine.
So people are acting like they are morally superior because the haven't gotten the vax because they didn't cheat the system to get one early??

Example:

Covid Shamers I know fairly well who are 50ish were recently in trump country Maryland and CVS was legitimately giving out vaccines to ANYONE who wanted one. Our other friends who are 40ish and healthy were like, "fuck it, might as well get a vaccine while I can."

They spent the rest of the weekend with the former covid shamers then shaming them for being vaccinated early.

so this is a weird argument,
if those 40 somethings didn't take those vaxes they would have been wasted and not used at all
I don't think they have a long shelf life

There ya go... however, the dickbag shamers refused to take the other vaxxes because they want to "wait their turn."

Like I said, moral superiority

Now I do think there are a lot of people who are jumping the line and that's a different situation
I think there could be some shame there as someone who is high risk legitimately could have gotten that vax and didn't...and is now sick/dead

I'd be interested to know how many people have actually died because someone skipped them in line, i'm guessing it's pretty damn small...

At any rate, hindsight is 20/20 but the process of rollout in some ways successful, has been really shitty in other ways. You can't compare apples to apples as well. Where my parents live, it was legitimately given to ANYONE that wanted to get it walking into a church cafeteria.

Down here, it's like battlin' in Nam.

If vaccines would go to waste that obviously isn’t the same as jumping the line

No system is perfect

That doesn’t mean waiting your turn is stupid
