I wonder if Rhett will have shorter hair?

At the Toronto show he announced that he was "sick of being a hippie, so if anybody knows any good salons, leave the name of the place with Noah the merch guy" so he could get his hair cut on their day off.

Well I think the rest of the show will be quite predictable. The 97's always seem to play it safe in the setlist selections for DC, usually leaving the cool Buck Owens or Merle Haggard covers for their Chicago or Texas shows.

So might as well have something to be curious about...

I bet Miller is a Republican.

given their appearance on this album:

and some of the predictably anti-Bush things he has said at paast concerts, that's highly doubtful.

Though Murry is a born-again Christian, so he's more likely to be the Republican.

Those are simply marketing moves.  Just like dropping the glasses and getting a squiffy haircut.

When he is safely tucked away in the voting booth, you know he pulls the lever for the red team.

I have a bootleg from '99 or early '00 in which Rhett bemoans the fact that "Timebomb" was played at a campaign rally for "fuckin' George Bush."

Thanks for the setlist. For awhile I was standing next to a guy who was typing something on a little keyboard deal ... was that you?

Excellent show Sunday. I actually liked Sunday's setlist a little better than the Sat. list listed here...though I didn't write it down.
