If we made Trump a one term president- and I think we have- that is huge.  A huge accomplishment
I agree...but the just barely part makes me depressed.  I wanted a mandate like winning the popular by 10million

I did too but honestly, if is by a narrow margin, it makes me feel good about the time I took off from work and phone banked, and the money I gave specifically to ActBlue in states like MI and GA that is going to fuel this. This an election that if we worked 10% less hard, we lose. But we didn't.

EDIT: Call me crazy, but I don't think an 8 million popular vote margin is out of play. Tons of CA and NY and MD/NOVA votes left to count.

not too shabby!  I'd be happy with that and it sounds like a mandate to me
The EC is the problem.  I'm sure that Dems in states like NJ, NY and CA (& DC) didn't come out and vote as there was really no point

yeah, I think with Hill we only needed to work 3% harder, but alas

we kinda knew this...but it's official Susan Collins says Sara Gideon called her to concede the race.
The Lincoln project put a lot in to defeat Collins, they must be upset

This is a massive disappointment.

Biden’s lead in Michigan looks insurmountable as does his lead in Wisconsin

soooooooo... are we allowed to feel confident yet?  maybe not "full-on victory dance" confident, but like "slight but noticeable happy-shuffle as i get another cup of tea" confident?

Well we been burned before but I think this is in the bag

Of course it would really help to win a few more states to pile on pressure on Trump and Republicans to accept defeat

Just not ready to start interpreting the results....but there are some interesting trends here

MIRS has declared Biden the winner of Michigan.

EDIT: OK, just realized that acronym is going to need some explaining for the non-Mitten/legislative wonks wings of the board. Very wonky, non-partisan state government news organization. This is the equivalent of me saying "The Detroit Free-Press has declared Biden the winner of Michigan" or "The Richmond Times-Dispatch has declared Biden the winner of Virginia."

Wasserman, the only Twitter account you should follow (@Redistrict), says his analysis of the outstanding vote has Biden "on track to finish ahead" in Pennsylvania.
