I would probably never go see the Whigs unless it was free.  I saw them at Black Cat and left before they finished (they were just ok).  At least Dead Confederate kicked ass that night.

Im skipping the Hopkins thing due to the rain.  Im going to try and go to FDR or the Floristree show tonight (probably Floristree, I really dig that venue).

Edit:
Adventure/Future Islands/Raindeer/etc is rescheduled for tomorrow.

you all missed pleasure leftists who completely moped the floor of every band that played tonight at any venue. period. people were floored. jaws to the fucking floor. band played like they have been playing for years and had something to prove.

How were Broken Water and Locrian?

Chris did tell me Thursday that Terence from Locrian lives in Baltimore now so I am hoping they will play more gigs around the area.

locrian again jaws dropped to the floor, the execution of the new stuff is flooring, and with a drummer mind you...just proved that more to be so.

ed shrader killed it too, it was as if he was recalling early death in june or bauhaus vibe. totally great.

but yeah Pleasure Leftists, holy crap....It's 9:45 am, and i'm still stunned, and I'm not just sayin that cause i booked the damn thing.
