I'm guessing that the new venue in SW that'll open up will be a perfect venue for a band like Faith No More when it opens. Bigger but not too big. More accessible to DC folks than Merriweather. I love Merriweather but during the week it's really prohibitive for me.

you know, if it wasn,t so far out my way, i would just love to give bearman, a nice long ride.  if anybody sees me at faith no more, say hello to you fine sir . . . i,ve always wanted to meet fellow boardies to share a fine alcoholic product with them.  I will probably be wearing a widespread panic shirt that has a gorilla on the front, or the widespread panic blue indian shirt.  im sure, nobody else in the entire venue will have a widespread panic shirt on, and ill probably get beat up for wearing it.

We saw you're headed to Faith No More at Merriweather tomorrow (Sunday 8/2) so we wanted to do a little something special for ya...

We've put you plus 1 on the VIP Deck Pass list for the show! When you get to Merriweather, bring your photo ID along with your FWB card (electronic is fine) to the 9:30 Club tent, located just inside the South/Main entrance gates. They can give you your 2 VIP deck passes. We've attached a map so you can see where the VIP deck area is on site. Quick note: These passes are in addition to your ticket, they don't get you entrance into the show; they're for the VIP deck.

What is the VIP Deck you ask?  VIP is located to the side of the pavilion-it's a great place to hang, catch some of the show on monitors, grab a drink with little to no line or take advantage of the special VIP deck restrooms. 

No need to RSVP for this one. We already have you on the list.
