Yeah, I'm sometimes triggered when she calls my family condescending names and insults.

Getting screamed at is not acceptable. It's abuse. Seriously. Counseling?

(Accidentally) leaving a mess is also abuse. "If you didn't leave a mess I wouldn't have to scream at you."

(Accidentally)
Do YOU believe it was an accident, or is it possible you saw it and didn't deal with it at the time
unfortunately, ignorance is no excuse in the eyes of the law

As I said, i wasn't aware there was a mess until i got back from the store where i was picking up food to make the family dinner and was screamed at upon my arrival.

I know better than to call her out for any messes, but when i humbly, quietly do, I get screamed at because "you make way more messes than i do, and i do more work, so you have no right to criticize me about anything."

So sorry Space. When you are ready to get out, I will help find you a northern virgnia domestic relations attorney.

Does she ever leave giant piles of her pubic hair lying around the bathroom, etc?

Start gathering them up and putting them under her pillow.

Yeah. Yeah. That’s one idea of what we could do with a pile of female pubes, for sure. But maybe we could come up with something else.

Define “mess”. I think that’s important.

And my partner is not to call and yell at me when I’m at work. Nipped that in the bud early on. Can’t have it. E-V-E-R.

Red sauce on the trash can lid. I haven't even cooked with red sauce since Saturday lunchtime, so not even sure the mess was mine. I did have a lasagna leftover for lunch today, but i don't think the garbage can was used. Whatever I guess. She has screamed herself into a Bobby Hill voice at this point.

i think she should smoke more pot.

Would now be the wrong time to mention that mrs diction does 75% of the cooking and cleaning?

I told her she was being abusive, and she said "Don't be such a pussy."

I apologized for unwittingly leaving a mess, and she said the apology wasn't good enough and proceeded to yell at me for putting hte salsa in the "wrong place" in the fridge.

I went on a dog walk with my daughter who advised me to "apologize even if you know you're right, that's the only way to get her to stop."

Wise one, my kid.
