Read the Kos piece then come talk to me
I think that was a well-written piece
It's similar to how trump took the GOP, but Dems don't do winner take all...so little different coming into the convention

I am shocked the Democratic Party wants a Democrat who has fought for the party for 50 years, as a Senator and Vice President, to be President over a socialist who has never lifted one finger for the Democratic Party!!

lol. well said :-)  there is always a chance the DNC sat back and let the people decide who should be nominated - craziness, i know...

The thing about the DNC is it's decentralized at it's core and people tend to spin it like there are a bunch of puppet masters in smoke filled rooms making the plays
It's nothing like how the GOP holds court...nothing and the reason we lose more often with clear majorities in support for policies

The thing about that koz article and Berrnies support is.....30ish % of the Dem primary voters...isn't even 15% of the Democratic voters on election day in November.
That Bernie has made zero effort to broaden his base is political suicide
He's got maybe 20 million gung ho supporters and that's awesome in itself

but we need 68 million votes to beat trump...hence the problem in my eyes

I feel like I've been into politics for the last 30 years
but my interest in the last two eclipses those 28 combined
I can't believe the uncertainty
This was the election we needed Obama 2.0 and of all the candidates, there honestly was not one who inspired people like Obama

Congratulations to Joe Biden, who won his first primary/caucus ever in three runs for the Presidency on Saturday. Can he win any more?

I yelled “take a shower, dirt grub” at everyone who looked like a Bernie this morning at my polling place so when Biden wins VA later tonite, you’ll know who to credit.

For me the more interesting endorsement was Beto...

Literally nobody likes Sanders

I guess some former senator from Michigan I never heard of just endorsed him

Berniers on the net are freaking out but I expect he will be way ahead after tonight

As someone in my house would say "That's because they're all establishment motherfuckers. The working man supports Bernie."

The reference was to all of the Washington politicians lining up against Bernie, that Sidehatch was talking about.

Of course Biden is going to get the (older) black vote in South Carolina. He has been forging relationships with those folks for many years. Bernie, not so much.

I love it how everything is "racism" with the liberal elite. Just like saying "Well we HAVE to pick a black female VP." Thinking this way is why we're going to lose.

that’s just so stupid I wouldn’t know where to begin

It’s a weird Bernie trait to equate anyone who is against him with the 1% or establishment ...he does this all the time and his supporters parrot it

I mean just saw another lame Bernie request for $: “the entire damn 1% is coming after us...”

No dude I am coming after you and happily voted for Joe Biden..I mean I wish I was a 1 percenter!

Welcome to my world.

At least she's only 12 and thus too young to vote.

Yeah, I'm just joking. My 12 year old has been sitting on the fence on this one, seemingly not taking sides as her parents debate the election. She usually takes her mom's side, because her mom is the one who spoils her with all kinds of unnecessary products.

My wife hasn't had a fetish for someone like this since she went through her Brian Wilson phase a few years ago. I would use the term "hard on for" but I learned in another thread that that means you're against something.
