correct, the guy's name is Jay Kay.

however, jamiroquai = jay kay, and jay kay = jamiroquai.  he's the only remaining original member, it was "his band" from the outset, he's the main writer/composer, etc.  there is no band without the man, sorta like NIN and trent reznor: if trent reznor retires, NIN retires.
