had this other beer, and didn't know it was "local"

not bad, pretty good

called obh  busthead

You must have missed the discussion by two former Board members, James Ford and Atomic, about Old Busthead on page 308 of the Beer Thread.

Then again, you seemed more concerned with ticks than beer at that time.

Ironically, I am posting this while wearing my DC Brau t-shirt.

Hey, you're a PA native,so you get a pass on the Rolling Rock.

Just like I'm a Florida native who grew up on New York State. So i get a pass on Cigar City and Ommegang.

one of these things is not like the others...

Had a pour of the Berliner Weisse by Bear Republic called Tartare at P Street Whole Foods. Definitely best Berliner I've had. Better than Westbrook Gose. Maybe the best under-5% beer I've had of any style.

Has anybody seen in in bottles?

Very funny you mention this beer as I never heard of it and had a glass of it last night at City Tap House. I found it WAAAAAAAAAY too tart and it caused immediate acid reflux (personal problem).

I enjoyed the glass of Birrificio del Ducato Chrysopolis much more.

This, arguably, is also a personal problem.
