got a growler Alpine Beer Company - Pure Hoppiness and happily enjoying while removing the bird from the brine and getting it preped for the oven (gotta get a new glass )

Thanksgiving is one of those holidays that it's perfectly acceptable for the cook to start drinking before noon

I do have some special bottles/cans/bomers for my guests to pick from
Rodenbach Vintage 2013
Lindemans Gueuze Cuvée René
Cigar City - White oak aged Jai Alai IPA (really good and very different than the original..more crushable)
DogfishHead - beer for breakfast stout
Clownshoes - SpaceCakes IPA

Sadly, I still have a little bit of Abner left in the growler. I hate it when I don't kill the growler after opening it. Will finish that today.

I grabbed two bottle of barleywine, one of regular, and failed to get any coffee.

Barleywine, Regular, and Regal (as well as Abraxas) on draft at P Street. That would make one hell of a $5 flight. if they'd sell you a flight of it.

my favorite beer shop had an anniversary, and I love the owners, so I went and visited them to say congrats.  I tasted some beers on tap, just to remember the taste of excellent beer.

dog fish head -  beer for breakfast.  god awful, but I hate dark stout beer.  brewed with scrapple.  what?!

Susquehanna  -  wam bam, thank you mam.  pretty good

dechutes  -  sage fight imperial.  really good

lagunitas  -  dark swan.  really, really good

chaos mountain  -  margarita gose.    the fucking, fucking bomb.

oh beer, I miss you.

edit

tasted, meaning, a little small half filled plastic beer tasting cup thing.  it was basically to put a splash on your tongue to swallow a taste.  I wasn't drinking glasses, or anything.

don't, . . . Julian judge me.
